bakalair will be switching hosting providers over the next few weeks. I’m hoping for minimal interruption, but there’s always the chance of something going horribly wrong. I’ll update this post again when there is new information.

Edit #5 070114: I am now going to point bakalair.com to its new home. Expect some downtime as the DNS changes take effect.

Edit #4 062814: The domain has been successfully transferred and now I’m getting e-mail accounts ready to accept mail before I point bakalair.com to the nameservers of its new home. This is the really fun part~ :3

Edit #3 062514: The domain transfer has been initiated and is scheduled to complete on Friday.

Edit #2 062114: I will initiate the domain transfer process shortly, which may take up to a week to complete. At some point during this time, the website and e-mail will become unavailable. I made a backup of the e-mail accounts that will be migrated over to the new host and will get things set up after the domain transfer process is completed. I’m hoping that it won’t take too long to get back to 100%. 🙂

Edit #1 062014: I’m getting closer to making the big move. There may be some slight downtime while DNS changes propagate. After the changeover, there will more than likely be some issues with things that I’ll get sorted out as soon as I can.  Wish me luck!
