After noticing that the bakalair.oekaki has been overrun with spam, I have decided to discontinue it. It hasn’t been used in a very long time, so I doubt it will be missed. I have backed up the few images and comments posted to it, but don’t know what I’ll do with them yet.

Technical issues with bakalair’s web hosting provider knocked the blog down for a bit. It seems to be functioning again, so yay. I guess this is what happens when you finally migrate to MySQL 5 to be able to run WordPress 3.2. 
It’s hard to believe that bakalair has been on the Internet for 8 years as of today. Even after all this time, there’s still no real purpose to it. HERP DERP
I just updated bakalair.oekaki to the latest version of Wacintaki. I know no one uses it, but whatever.

January 2006 was a long, long time ago! The lovely & talented Beth Naeyaert (now Snow) sketched this for me for bakalair. I don’t remember the story behind it, but I bet it was awesome!
